Ky-mani , who is getting close to finishing his third album untitled, is surely a celebrity. On the 26th of February in 1976 Ky-mani was born to the legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as the man who lives up to his name, each album or travel will be an exciting one. The Journey was his first music venture. His eclectic vision allowed him to seek out the right niche for himself and discover his diverse talents. As of 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) was a "traditional" reggae compilation was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well loved by the public worldwide, and established Ky-mani as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is well-known by his unique mix with hip-hop, R&B and a hint of contemporary jazz.
